The campaign “The role of evidence in an infordemic”

The spread of COVID-19 is the first ever pandemic to massively use technology and social media to keep people safe, informed and connected. At the same time, the technologies we use to communicate and receive information are creating infodemic that weaken the global response and threaten to derail efforts to combat the pandemic.

Evidence-based healthcare (EBHC) is a guarantee of patient safety. In this regard, the role of evidence-based healthcare in the fight against infodemic in health care is great.

As part of World EBHC Day 2021, the THE ROLE OF EVIDENCE IN AN INFODEMIC campaign is being launched. Those wishing to join the campaign can go to the website https://worldebhcday.org/.
